The village is fortunate in having a Memorial Hall that is suitable for many village functions and for private hire. In recent years the kitchen and toilets have been completely modernised and the car park has been resurfaced, the windows have been replaced and the floor has been sanded and resealed. The trustees have an ongoing plan for further alterations and refurbishment. A new post and rail fence with gate has been erected between the car park and the Playing Field. Many of these improvements have been funded by the Big Lottery and Lubrizol. In commemoration of the start of WW1 the Memorial Hall has had the inside walls repainted and the outside stone walls cleaned and this work has been funded by Lubrizol.
This was set up for a wedding reception.
